Elections Ahead

Spring is here and, at Honest Weight, that means it’s time for Board elections.

This year, three out of nine seats are open. We have four declared candidates: Rick Donegan will seek a second term, while Ana (Stacy) Onorata, Mary Sweeney, and Jason Warshowsky have also thrown their hats into the ring. The election will be held at our Membership Meeting on Sunday, April 30th, at the Albany Unitarian Universalist Church, formerly known as FUUSA, at 405 Washington Ave, Albany.

You’ll find the Board applications on our new 2017 Board Elections webpage – check it out! Reading each application and resume will give you an idea of each contender’s qualifications, but attending a Meet the Candidates session provides a great opportunity to ask probing questions and garner a deeper understanding of each candidate.

We’ve already held one Meet the Candidate session. Be sure to come to one before the election:

Thursday, April 27th

Meet the Candidate attendees receive credit if they are present for the duration of the event, and snacks are on hand to keep any distracting hunger at bay.

We all value an informed electorate and trust you will avail yourselves of the chance to learn more about these Member-Owners who are committed to serving on the Honest Weight Board of Directors.
