October’s Survey Topic: Wellness!
Every month, the Nutrition and Education Committee (NEC) posts a short survey in the Co-op Voice. This month we have more questions from Alex Mytelka, the new Wellness Department Manager. Did you know that the Wellness Department has bulk products?
Yes, you read that right, you can get as much or as little of the Wellness products you love, and can even bring your own clean, re-usable container to get them! They have bulk soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, detergents, and more. Often bulk products are less expensive than pre-packaged goods, and they help reduce waste as well.
Alex would like to know if you have ever used the Wellness bulk products, if you have ever purchased the “impulse” items at the Co-op’s check-out registers, and if you could rate your experience asking for assistance at the Wellness Counter. Alex is really interested in making the Wellness Department your go-to place to shop for all things wellness. Please help him out by taking this survey.
July’s Survey Results
Once again, we would like to thank everyone who has participated in our surveys. Please click here to see the full results of July’s survey. We have always wondered who you were and what brings you to the Co-op. So, in July we asked. Don’t forget to speak to us through our letters to the editors, too!
Our first question asked about your relationship with Honest Weight. Almost everyone who responded said they are a Member-Owner, while 16 percent of respondents were Shareholders and 2 percent indicated they are both Staff and a Member-Owner.
Then, we asked how long ago you first became a customer of Honest Weight. The responses were split pretty evenly, with about a quarter of respondents saying they began shopping at Honest Weight in either the last 1-5 years, the last 6-10 years, the last 11-20 years, or 21 years ago or more.
And, finally, we asked what the primary reasons are that you shop at Honest Weight. There were many reasons selected and we asked you to select all that apply to you. Here are the most popular reasons, each of which were selected by at least half of respondents: local products; organic products; the overall quality of Honest Weight’s products; additive- and preservative-free products; package-free products; the Honest Weight community; and the member discount.
